Janiele was thoughtful, warm and attentive throughout our stay, preparing delicious meals each day and introducing us to lovely Finnish ingredients and cuisine.

We deeply appreciated the privacy of our trip and the genuine respect all the guides showed toward their environment and animals. You allowed us to explore the quiet, peaceful corners of Rovaniemi.

We had the most amazing time at Otava Lodge – a magical and wonderful experience with beautiful scenery and brilliant staff.

The food was excellent, as were the hosting skills of all the staff. Temu and Jack had a perfect blend of knowledge and interaction. They hosted the children brilliantly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experiences. The house itself is brilliantly designed for hosting and privacy.

We honestly had the best time and can’t wait to one day return. The 70th birthday meal was also amazing — special thanks to the chef for treating us to wonderful, authentic food. Please pass on our thanks and love to the team; they felt like family by the end!

Ville’s deep knowledge and incredible photography gave us unforgettable memories. Not just of the Northern Lights and snowy forests, but of our family’s joy. His kindness and dedication made us feel truly at home.

Special thanks to Chef Aarne, who navigated our kids’ picky tastes with creativity and heart. Every meal, from comforting local dishes to the best smashed burger, was a highlight.

The itinerary was fantastic, and we especially appreciated the privacy during experiences like ice floating and husky sledding. Teemu was a kind, patient guide, and we truly enjoyed our time with him. Aleksi was an excellent chef, constantly going the extra mile to exceed our expectations.
